I have been involved with multiple activites at Virginia Tech in my first semester. 

 

1. Intramural Soccer

3. Snow Club

 

 

Joining intramural sports has not only allowed me to meet friends with mutual interests, but it has allowed me to continue participating in sports.   I have been playing on sports teams since I was old enough to walk, and I love that I am able to continue it in college, even if it is not at a competative level.  Snow club has also given me an opportunity to meet many new people.  

 

I plan to rush a sorority in the fall, which i am confident will help me meet even more poeple.. Joining a sorority puts me outside of my comfort zone, however I know that stepping out of my comfort zone will allow me to accomplish new things that I would never have been able to do originally.  

 

Joining clubs and meeting new people has made my college experience so far a lot of fun, because I am meeting many new people with similar interests, stepping out of comfort zone, and experiencing new activites.
